  1. A battle between the fairies of Clare and Limerick.
    About eighty years ago, there lived in Kilbreedy, in the parish of Stonehall, about three miles to the north west of Shountrade school, a mason named Sheahan. He was called "the fairy" by the people of the locality because of his friendship with the fairies. He said that he often used meet them and play with them.
    One night the fairies told Sheahan that there was going to be a battle between the Limerick fairies and the Clare fairies and it was to be fought
