All the neighbours cattle stood in the danger of Down as he used carry away all the good cattle and put bad ones instead. One day at the fair of Croagh a very heavy shower of snow fell and the people had to run out of the fair and take shelter by the bushes and ditches. When the shower passed over the cattle wre covered with beautiful mantles of snow and nobody knew his own cattle.
