    seven weeks before it landed in New York. It was a ship which used sail from Limerick docks to New York. When the school was knocked the people applied to the National Board to have a new school built on the old site, but for some reason or other this place was condemned. Then the third Earl of Dunraven who was a Catholic gave the people an empty house in Tuogh. It was remodelled and made into a school house.
    Herd's men of the estate lived in it. The teachers who taught in it were Mr. Quill, Mr. Shanahan, Mr. Hanrahan and Mr. Neville. Mr. Quill was a Protestant
