    a case brought before him. It was a dispute between Protestants and Catholics. The Protestants stood up and said. "We are the loyalists", but he said "Ye are not loyal to England. When I was in Waterloo, the Protestants refused to rescue me when I was captured, but twenty Catholics volunteered to rescue me, and fought their way back with me to my own regiment".
