    Shountrade.
    Mr. Shanahan was followed by Mr. Quill. He was a Protestant. The Parish priest of Adare Dean Flanagan told the children not to attend the school. Mr. Hanrahan then taught there.
    It was a one storey high building, situated on the roadside, and very old in design. There were six windows in it and a fireplace. There was a slated roof on it. It had no playground, only a mound on the roadside, which the children used as a playground. It was destroyed by fire in 1936.
