  1. "The Madman's Road" is in the townland of Boolypatrick in Blarney Parish, Co. Cork. It is so called because a madman was captured there after escaping from the Lunatic Asylum in Cork. He was found hiding in the wood by the road.

  2. "The Nursery" is situated on the main road to Tower, about a mile outside Blarney. It is in the Parish of Blarney and in the townland of Boolypatrick. About eighty years ago it was a fine orchard but a few years ago it was turned into a small wood.
