"Horgan's Bridge is on the main road between Blarney and Cork. It was built about 90 years ago. It is in the townland of Clogheen Milcon, and in the parish of Blarney. It got its name from the late Fr. Matt Horgan who was responsible for the building of it. It was considered a great piece of engineering work for it was built in a bog.- Collector
