- Once there lived in Eyeries a woman called Máire Ní Mhurchadha. She was a wise old woman. She would tell you all about what would happen to you. She used to be always with the fairies.
One night a man was coming from the Mines and it was very late. He was taken away by the fairies and they had a fairy hurling Match in the slieve of Allihies and Máire Ní Mhurchadha was with them.
