  1. There was once a German priest who used to visit England every year, and he was very fond of talking to old people. One day he met an old man on the road and he was crying. He said why are you crying. The old man said his father beat him, and then the priest asked him what age was he, and he said he was 85 years. Then the priest asked him why did his father beat him and he said "I would'nt go to the shop for tobacco for my grandfather.
