    Tops The little boys long ago used to make tops of wood and some of the boys make them still.
    Flutes Flutes were made of elder bushes.
    Boats When little boys are by the sea shoe they love to make boats, and these boats are made of paper.
    Bows and Arrows Bows and arrows are made of sallies. The sallie rod was skinned and bent and tied with a piece of string and then a pointed arrow was made of wood.
    Jack in the box This is a very old toy and little children love to make it. They make a wooden box with a lid on it and then they put in a piece of wire on a string, and when the lid is removed "Jack" jumps up.
