    Home Made Toys
    The following are a list of home made toys: -
    Dolls. Dolls were made of cloth and potatoes. They used to make little men out of candle grease. They also used to get a spool and put a blouse and skirt on it and cut out eyes on it also. Some of the girls were very handy and they used to make dolls out of wood.
    carts and asses. The little boys make carts of wood and they used to make asses of putty.
    Whistles Whistles were made of pieces of elder sticks and others were made of tin.
