    There is a tradition about the Poppy. One day when Jesus went to meet Saint Joseph he stepped on a thorn and a drop of blood sprang from his foot. A Poppy grew where the blood fell and this is the reason why it is red.
    House leek is boiled and then the juice is poured on the affected part of the eye.
    Robin-run-the-hedge is boiled and then mixed through porter and drank.
