    I meant to have some fun, and up to see Knockcroghery I said I'd take a run.
    But some-thing in my car went wrong and up she stands stock-still.
    I know not what so out I got twas on Carboola Hill.
    II
    Before I lift my motor car, sure I put on no brake,
    So back she moved and then it proved I'd made a great mistake.
    Oh back she goes sure no one Knows how my poor heart did fill.
    With deep dispair to see her tear down Corboola Hill.
    III
    She dashed into a stable and burst right in the door.
    The side walls also came to grief,
    the roof came to the floor,
    She should be smashed to pieces, dashed
    I think I'm looking still at that awful sight in clear day light upon Carboola Hill.

    an angry man was he,
