  1. Old Houses.
    There are many old houses in Culleen and some of their ruins are to be seen yet.
    There is an old house in Culleen in Cunningham's garden. It is over fifty years old and a Kelly family lived in it.
    There are the ruins of an old house in Ward's garden in Culleen. A family named Queeny lived in it. They were unable to pay the rent of the house so they went to America. Althought they were very poor two of their boys became priests.
