    My grandfather told us that there is a fort in our field by the banks of the River Maine.

    Mochuda performed many great miracles, he cured the king of Munster from blindness and he was also deaf and dumb. Mochuda made prayers to God for him and put the sign of the Holy Cross on his eyes, ears and mouth and the king was cured of all his distress and trouble
