    He jumped 21 ft and could step from one pier of a gate to another 10 ft apart. One day he was at a hunt at Derrydoragher he jumped hedges, ditches and road and lifted the hare when the hounds caught it. Tom McCarren, Derrydoragher, Tydavnet, saw him do it. One day he was at a hunt in Guilford and he jumped across a house on to the street. he died about fifty years ago.
