A story is told about a clergyman in a town whose congregation was very hard.

    A Story.
A story is told about a clergyman in a town whose congregation was very hard. In his collections on Sundays he never got any money but coppers. At last he thought of a plan and got a silver collection plate. Thinking that his people would give silver instead of the coppers. But this time they returned the place empty to the clergy man and the only thing he could say was that he was very thankful to get back his silver collection plate.
