  1. The people of the Cloncoose district were very much troubled by owing to the activities of a certain old lady whom the accused of being the cause of a great many of the misfortunes which were prevalent in that district She could not be caught in any act. She being very wary. At last their patience was exhausted when the milk of their cows would yield no butter and they made up their minds to watch her more closely at last their suspicions were verified. They saw her leave the house at day-light and go out the fields gathering the early dew off the grass. The people believed that the cows got the butter from the early dew that was on the grass and also that the witch as they said the old lady was took away all the butter before the cows came out to feed.
    But the old lady was too cute to be caught. When
