Toothache: If there is a hole in the tooth fill it with sulphate of copper, or tobacco, or ginger, or whiskey. Fill the hole with a wad of cotton wool steeped in Jeyes' fluid.
If you are given a horse's tooth without asking for it you will never get a toothache.
If you can take a piece of butter off the point of your elbow with your lips you will never suffer toothache.
Fill the hole in the tooth with a mixture of soot, salt or vinegar.
