When they arrived home the man who had the bag looked at what he had in his hand and it was a bag of rags because the woman who was after them touched the bag and the gold changed into rags. The next day the went to the fort again and the tree was growing and all the earth they had dug was in its own place again. The man whose leg was broken died shortly after.
