    Long ago there lived a man called Carall na Gruaige.

    making fun of him he would send a plague of rats to them and before he would go he would tell them that every rat that would be in the graveyard or any lonely place would come to them that night and they could not sleep at all. He would leave them that way and no one could relieve them and he would come when he would feel like it and set a charm and after a short time all the rats would be banished.
