  1. Holy Wells
There is only one holy well in this parish, and it is situated about a mile and a half south of Ballyfa near the road leading from Ballyfa to Bullaun. It is called Tobar an Domhnaighe and though no people visit it now, some years ago large crowds went there on Garland Sunday which was the 'pattern' day. It is only about eight yards from the road and is about two feet deep. Its waters are not used, for another well was sunk close by. A bush grows beside the holy well and large flag-stones encircle it.
