    You brave Irish people Where e're ye may be,

    Oh the friends they assemble
    And the neighbours also
    When the trunks they are packed up
    And ready to go,
    The tears from their eyes
    They are falling like rain
    When the horses are started
    Going off for the train.
    IV.
    When they do reach the station,
    You will hear the last cry,
    With handkerchiefs waving
    And bidding good bye
    Oh the father he tells them
    Be sure and to write
    And he watches the train
    Until it is gone out of sight.
