  1. In Mr. Spelman's land in Glenbrack about a mile from the little town of Gort there is a large fort. It is in the corner of a four-acre field called the Fort field between the main road from Gort and Coole.
It is ninety six yards in circumference There were three rings of earth around it but these have almost disappeared now.
In it there is an underground passage which is about one hundred yards in length. The opening to this fort is now closed with stones.
Mr. Spelman never ploughs that field nor interferes with the fort in any way.
