    boiled down and give as a drink. It is also a very tall plant and bears a yellow flower. There is a well called Saint Dolough's which is supposed to have cured sore eyes. The people after being cured went and tied bits of cloth on the bushes as a sign that they were cured by the water in the well. The well is still to be seen on the right-hand side of the road going into Dublin. Saint Dolough's is near Balgriffen on the Malahide side
