  1. There is an old rath near Brackenstown. It is named "Cnoc Sidhe Dan". It is a high round hill with a flat top and paths around it. Two men once started to remove the path, at night a fairy came to the two men and told them to replace the earth they had removed or they would pay for it. It was replaced and no one has ever tried to remove it since.
