    occurred when a big ship named the "Táiliúr" was wrecked, when travelling from Liverpool to America, off the south coast of Loughshinny. It happened during a storm as the captain was keeping in close to the land. The ship ran into a reef of rock off the coast of a well known island called "Lambay." All the people on board her were drown except a little girl. A Rush family took the girl and reared her. They did not know her name, but they caller her Taylor after the ship's name.
