    Care of the Potatoes.
    Skerries, Co. Dublin.
    When the seed is set in the drills and covered up for a week the farmer and his men go along with forks and knock the tops off the drills to let the potatoes over the ground. There is nothing more done to them until they get up big and strong. Then he grubs and drills, harrows the alleys to cut the weeds away. Then there are men pulling the weeds from round about the potatoes where the grubber cannot go, after that the farmer comes along with a horse and a double boarded plough and puts the clay
