    Severe Weather.
    Skerries, Co. Dublin.
    A very severe storm occurred in Ireland about the year 1919. There was a boat names the "Village Bell" in distress outside Skerries and my grandfather went in a lifeboat to take the crew ashore. On the same night another boat the "Baltic" from Skerries was lost with all her crew. My grandfather's brother was skipper of the "Baltic."
    About five years ago there was a great blizzard. All the roads through Ireland were blocked with snow. The telephone and electric wires were broken
