    Buying and Selling.
    Skerries, Co. Dublin.
In Skerries a great deal of buying and selling is carried on principally in the shops, although a great number of folk from adjoining towns come to sell fish and vegetables. I have heard that as the Monument Skerries, a market was held weekly. The name given to the people who send fowl around to be sold is "higgler."
