    Barnageera is a pleasant spot two miles from Skerries. This is how it got is name. One day a man was driving a flock of sheep by Barnageera when suddenly the sheep made a break through a ditch and from that day to the present it has been called "Barnageera" of "The Gap of the Sheep."
