    and up the new road a bit. As he walked on he saw a flat stone. This stone was in the place where the new road was to go over. He though to himself that he might as well clear away the stone then when he had nothing to do for he would only have to clear it away the next day. He had a pick with him so he started taking away the stone. When he lifted away the stone he saw a hole under it.
    He put in his hand and he pulled u some old pike-heads and blacksmith's tools.
