    Twas the fiddler played it wrong,
    Tis true, says Hugh, and so says Sue,

    The fiddler then began, to play the tune again,
    And every girl did, trip it, trip it,
    Trip it to the men,
    And every girl did, trip it, trip it,
    Trip it, to the men.
