    Burns: The plaster for burns is oatmeal and bread.
    There is a man named Hugh Gallagher of High Glen who can rub for sprains because he was the seventh son. There is another man named Paddy Doherty of Carrick who can rub for pains.

  2. Warts: Cut a potato and rub the inside on the wart. Then bury the potato.
    Evil: The seventh son can cure it.
    Rose: Blood from a child who never saw its father.
    Splinter: If you got a splinter under your nail put wax in it and it will come up.
    Consumption: Throw a live frog down your neck and you will be cured.
    Pains: If you have a pain in your stomach heat a plate and put it to it and the pain will go away.
    Cuts: If you cut your finger put salt in it and it will heal.
    Weak heart: The juice of the dandelion is
