  1. There was a man coming from Donegal on horseback. When he came as [far as?] the Alt at Ardaghey a great number of cats got up on the back of the horse and would not leave him.
    He took out a knife and he cut the leg of one of the cats and the rest left crying. He put the leg in his pocket and brought it home.
    When he looked next morning, it was a young child's arm that he had instead of a cats leg.
