    the dough refused to stay. When Cian returned to dinner and heard the story, he flew into a rage that his hospitality should be spurned and seizing his magic wand, he started in pursuit of the travellers. He overtook them on the mountain, where with a touch of his druidic slat, he changed them into these five stones - two large ones representing the sons, the third the mother and the two small ones are supposed to represent the dogs.
