    The culprit got a very troublesome sore hand and had the stone returned to the well.
    (b) On another occasion a handyman named Pat Lonergan who lived in the neighbourhood for a short time not only used the water for tea, but also for washing up his utensils. In a short time he got a sore shin which became so troublesome that he could not work. He gave up using the well water for washing up purposes & the sore gradually improved. He attributed his ore to his profanation of well.
