    At an old country fair a local poet composed the following lines -
    On hardware stalls were razors, awls,
    Knives, forks, tin cans and kettles,
    With pots and pans in sorted lots
    And various kinds of metals.
    Their tents two score were quilted oer
    With blankets, sheets and frozes
    While dairy ware in piles were there
    The kind good housewives prizes.
