    There are a lot of old roads in this district, such as the Coast Road, Garranturtan Road, Áth Cláirín, Caroline Road and the Cove Road.
    The Coast Road leads from Stradbally to Bonmahon, Garranturton Road leads to Kilmacthomas. Caroline's Road which is now called The New Line was made the time of the famine and when the men got the work they were too weak to do it. They only got a
