  1. Go mbeannuighidh Dia dhuit
    Righ an domhain naomhtha
    Go mbeannuighidh Mhuire dhuit
    agus beannuighinise féin duit

    Is cughatsa thángasa
    An ghearán féineach
    A d'iarradh cabhair
    In ónóir Dé ort.

The above is an old prayer said by the old people at St Briget's Well in Comeragh.
There was a well there dedicated to Our Lady also, but a woman bathed her child in it and the well dried up.
