    Its a cure for a heartburn. When you have the (heartbreak) heartburn take an egg standful of it.
    21. If you get stung with a nettle rub a dock leafe to it.
    22. If you get a burn with a fire rub butter to it.
    23. If you have a sty in your eye point a thorn ten times to it.
    24. If you get a sting of a wasp it is a good cure to rub to the sting a raw onion.
    25. When you have chilblains on your feet rub rose-water and glicerence on it.
    26. When you have a cold in your head drink a good glass of lemon juice.
    27. When your ankle is out rub olive oil on it.
    28 A cure for a pain in your ear is to put a drop of castor oil in a piece of wool and put it in your ear and the pain will go.
    29. A cure for cáileach is to get an eel skin and tie it where the pain is.
    30. If you have the flu it is a good cure to drink ferrit's leavings.
    31. A cure for the mumps or a sore throat is to tie a silk stocking around your neck.
    32. A cure for chilblains is to wash your feet in salt water and they will go away.
