    Collected By Pupils of Fifth Standard, Sixth Std and Seventh Std.
    1. If you have a sore throat get salt and water. Put it in to your mouth but do not swallow it and then gargle.
    2. If you have a wart get a stone and put it in the fire. When it is hot take it out and put it to the wart.
    3. If you have a cut on your hand let a dog lick it and it will get better.
    4. If you have ringworm on your back get your father to write around it with a writing pen and it will not spread.
    5. If you have sore feet bathe them in baking soda and hot water.
    6. If you have a boil poultice it with lineseed [linseed] meal.
    7. A cure for the flu is to drink spring water.
    8. If you are after getting out teeth take a drop of whiskey and shake your head and let the whiskey flow out again and they wont pain you.
    9. For the fever long ago people used to give toasted trusts of bread for a cure.
