  1. About fifty years ago there lived a man named John McNulty in Townaghmore. He was a small man but very strong. One day John got his horse and cart and went to Ballina quay for a barrell of oil which used always take five men to lift. No man being at the quay when he arrived, but the foreman. John takes the barrel himself and puts it on the cart. The foreman said, "I often heard that there were good goods in small parsels thought I did not believe it. But now I can see its true.
