  2. Lord Sligo is the local landlord of this district. The family has been settled here for about a hundred years. He was looked upon as a good Lord. People were evicted when they would not pay their rent. Long ago people could not cut turf or sticks on their land without acquainting the Land Lord boss and Heratys were families who were evicted from Brackloon a 85 years ago.
