    Bargains are made same as at other fairs. The seller and buyer strike palms when the bargain is finished and the cattle and sheep are marked. Cattle usually with mud: and sheep with "raddle"
    Of late "South of Ireland" calves are sold here at the May fair. This is what "South of Ireland" calves" means.
    In the district there are not many milchs cows as the farmers go in for feeding Dry cattle that is heifers and bullocks up to a 3 years as stores or for beef.
